Fly or Die Smallmouth

These trips are designed for the dedicated fly angler looking to branch out from trout, or who has already experienced the thrill of smallmouth on the fly. Anglers booking this trip should be able to consistently and accurately cast 5o to 60 ft with a 6-8wt fly rod. This trip involves blind casting top water and subsurface flies to likely looking holding areas during the low flows of summer, and the early high waters of spring. Weather and water conditions are always a factor so a plan B, C, D, E should be made with your guide in the event that a heavy thunderstorm or dam releases or both cause a selected river to be unfishable. A plan B will usually be a trout float or wade, or to try to reschedule for a later date.
